Jacksonville Jaguars first-round draft pick Justin Blackmon was formally charged Monday with misdemeanor aggravated DUI in Oklahoma, KOCO-TV reported.
Blackmon, 22, was arrested Sunday morning after registering a blood-alcohol level of .24 -- triple the legal limit -- when he was pulled over in Stillwater at around 3:00am local time.
The former Oklahoma State star wideout reportedly entered a not guilty plea to the charge Monday. He is scheduled to return to court on July 24.
A police report of the incident said Blackmon was driving left of center at 60mph in a 35mph zone.
The officer who pulled him over smelled alcohol and reported that Blackmon had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes. He reportedly admitted to drinking before getting behind the wheel.
Blackmon, who was selected fifth overall by the Jaguars in April but has not yet signed a contract, was released Sunday afternoon on a $1,000 bond.
