Bobby Carpenter just came up with his first sack since his rookie season, dropping Matt Hasselebeck and causing a fumble. Carpenter timed the snap perfectly and got to Hasselbeck before he could complete his drop or allow running back Justin Forsett could pick him up. The play resulted in a punt, giving the offense a chance to pad the lead before the half. In the wild-card loss to Seattle in 2006, Carpenter had five tackles, a tackle for a loss and three pass breakups. It was just he second start of his career.
