Buzz On Broad:
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
New Orleans Saints
New York Jets
I’ve decided to take a bye week from the Love/Hate. In order
to switch it up a bit, I’m going to do a Bold Predictions segment. There will
be one prediction from each game; I know this is a bit late but stay with me
Tennessee vs. Buffalo- Ryan Fitpatrick will throw 0 (yes,
zero) picks today and will also throw for 4 TDs.
Cleveland vs. Indianapolis- At home, in the Dome, Andrew
Luck will thrive. Utilizing his favorite weapon, Reggie Wayne, Luck will throw
for 350+yards, 2 passing TDs and at least 1 Rushing TD.
Green Bay vs. Saint Louis- Steven Jackson will get his first
rushing TD of the season, along with a 100 yard game. Yea, I said it.
Arizona vs. Minnesota- The un-established run game of the
Cardinals will find itself today, and actually be fairly productive (lets say
100-125 yards) against a stud Vikings defense.
Washington vs. New York- The Giants defense will finally put
RG3 in check, limiting him to under 200 passing yards and a minimal amount of
rushing yards (sub 50).
New Orleans vs. Tampa Bay- A MASSIVE shootout will incur, Mike
Williams will be favored over Vincent Jackson and Lance Moore will dominate on
the Saints’ side.
Dallas vs. Carolina- Felix Jones will turn it on today in
the absence of Demarco Murray, earning 2 rushing TDs. Also, the Cowboys Defense
will have a field day with a thus far struggling Cam Newton, picking him off 3
Baltimore vs. Houston- Houston goes on a loss streak (2
games) after going 5 undefeated. This will be due to the fact that Arian Foster
will be kept in check, causing Schaub to throw more. This in turn will finally
lead to a multi-TD game for Andre Johnson.
Jacksonville vs. Oakland- Darren McFadden has a breakout
day, rushing for 150+yards and, what the hell, 3 TDs. Also, Blaine Gabbert
performs so poorly that he actually gets pulled out of the game.
New York Jets vs. New England- Tebow has a more productive
day then Sanchez, statistically speaking. Rex Ryan finally reaches his breaking
point, and in an act of pure desperation, throws Tebow to the wolves against a
Patriots Defense that already had him figured out.
Pittsburgh vs. Cincinatti- Andy Dalton keeps the great
season going, throwing for over 350 yards and 4 TDs. Also, I’m going with a win
from Cincy today.
Monday night: Detroit vs. Chicago- Matthew Stafford gets
sacked more times than Cutler, Cutler actually DOESN’T get sacked. I know, it seems Cutler leads the league in getting
sacked, but this Lions Defense is barely surviving at this point.

A testy Rex Ryan disputes the notion by many fans and media that the New York Jets played too conservatively in an overtime loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday.
Ryan insists Monday that the Jets ''go down to win'' and those who think the team was playing ''scared'' in a 29-26 defeat are ''ridiculous.'' New York (3-4) had a chance...
The Jets' conservative play-calling in the waning minutes of regulation in New York's 29-26 overtime loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday reminded many observers of the Herm Edwards era. In those years, the Jets tended to play it safe during the two-minute offense and usually lived to regret it, most notably in an AFC divisional playoff overtime loss to the Pittsburgh...
Buccaneers receiver Vincent Jackson is on the injury report for a calf problem, but it is not expected to keep him out of Sunday's game with New Orleans.Fantasy Spin:Tampa Bay's passing offense will have to keep up with New Orleans this week which should mean big days for Jackson and Mike Williams.
Since Rex Ryan entered Florham Park declaring that he wasn’t here to kiss Bill Belichick rings, the Patriots have become the Jets favorite measuring stick. Knowing that beating them validates all of the hard work, while providing instant credibility around the league. That winning more regular season games over the entire season than New England allows for a more high level entry...
New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan said much maligned quarterback Mark Sanchez played “really outstanding in most of the game” in a 29-26 overtime loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday night at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. … Continue reading →
It’s Week 7 and there are six teams with a bye week. The injuries continue to pile up and teams taking a week off are not helping you as lineup...
Buccaneers receiver Vincent Jackson was on the injury report for a calf problem, but is active for Week 7 against New Orleans.Fantasy Spin:Tampa Bay's passing offense will have to keep up with New Orleans this week which should mean big days for Jackson and Mike Williams.
As if there aren't enough storylines leading up to the New England Patriots - New York Jets showdown this afternoon, it has recently surfaced that the Rex Ryan showed a lot of interest in drafting rookie defender Chandler Jones. From NFL.com: While Chandler Jones looks like an NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year candidate in New England, Quinton Coples has struggled to get on...
These two get a lot of coverage, but play on field will make the difference
New York Jets (3-3) @ New England Patriots (3-3) 4:25 p.m.
It seems as though the New York Jets are trying a new tactic in the lead up to games against the Patriots. They are being complimentary and keeping the bulletin board material to a minimum. It doesn't seem right and worries me a little. Could...
Rex Ryan's defense played its best game a week ago, shutting down rookie Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis offense by causing turnovers and holding the Colts to just three field goals.
The task will be tougher Sunday.
The New York Jets face Tom Brady and the Patriots. New England's top-ranked up-tempo offense is fast and tricky. It uses the no-huddle to perfection, causing...
"That's My Boy" is the name of last summer's (dreadful) Adam Sandler/Andy Samberg move. It starred current New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan as a HARDCORE PATRIOTS FAN.Including a Bill Belichick bobblehead on his desk.I commend him for it. When Rex Ryan left his old job as the Baltimore Ravens' defensive coordinator and signed on as head coach of the New York...
I’m living up to the hype Juan…
One thing about V-Jax in the past has been his inconsistency. It looked like he was going that route this season also, until the 3 weeks where he has gone nuts with 17/382/4. With the Bucs having several layups through their remaining schedule, Jackson could continue to put up big numbers.
Rex Ryan had Tim Tebow pretend to be Tom Brady on scout team to
help Jets prepare for Patriots.
I need some of that San Diego stick em Juan…
