Boomer Esiason has done little to hide his disdain for Tim Tebow. In fact, it was just a few weeks ago when the former Jets quarterback suggested the current Jets quarterback should be cut from the team. Giving his latest two cents on the topic, the CBS analyst remains convinced Tebow has no business playing QB for Gang Green, saying he shouldn’t even be backing up starter Mark Sanchez. “I don’t believe Tebow can be your everyday backup quarterback,” Esiason said Tuesday, via USA Today. “Sanchez is clearly your starter, and (Greg) McElroy will be the backup. • As usual boomer knows how to get free publicity. Pick a big target and go for it. That's what you do when you were a marginal NFL player. Oh well what are you gonna do. He has to earn a living bym hook or by crook.
  • I love Boomer..however, Boom give the dude a chance. I know you have more knowledge of football that I can only wish to have but Tebow is great for the sport and its a sport that needs great people right now, with a solid foundation on precipals and morals. Give him a chance, you know it takes 3 to 5 years for a QB to develope.

And I'm a Giants fan. but I dig the dude. I love what he stands for.

  • I think Boomer should change his name from Boomer to GOOFER because he never said anythings good about anybody and especially TIM TEBOW and please dont try to be FAMOUS by mentioning his name because you dont qualify. funny i use to think you are human,
