According to Jorge Castillo of the Newark Star-Ledger, Ahmad Bradshaw, David Diehl, Hakeem Nicks, Domenik Hixon were all held out of Monday’s practice, as the Giants prepare to play the Panthers on Thursday night.

Today is the Giants’ only day of full practice before they travel to Charlotte tomorrow and four players aren’t participating.

RB Ahmad Bradshaw (neck), RT David Diehl (knee) and WR Domenik Hixon (concussion) all left Sunday’s game due to injury and the three weren’t at practice during the portion open to the media.

I expect Nicks to play this week even though he didn’t practice.  The Giants have been limiting his participation in practice as his foot continues to heal from offseason surgery.

Diehl, Hixon, Bradshaw skip Giants practice

Tackle David Diehl, running back Ahmad Bradshaw and wide receiver Domenik Hixon were among six Giants held out of practice on Monday. Diehl suffered an injury to the medial collateral ligament in his right knee in Sunday's 41-34 win over Tampa Bay and might be the most questionable player for the Giants' next game, against Carolina Thursday. Coach Tom Coughlin did not know...

Andre Brown Should Get Start if Bradshaw Can’t Go Week 3…

Ralph Vacciano is reporting that Ahmad Bradshaw (neck) did not practice today and it's his opinion that Bradshaw will not play week 3. After Bradshaw when out of the game in week 2 it was Andre Brown who got the lion's share of the work, but rookie David Wilson.

Andre Brown Exudes Power in Bradshaw's Absence

Giants running back Andre Brown was the one to take over for Ahmad Bradshaw after Bradshaw exited Sunday's game with a neck injury, not rookie David Wilson.Fantasy Spin:Brown carried 13 times for 71 yards and a touchdown while Wilson got three carries for six yards. The important thing to take away from this is that if Bradshaw is healthy his job is safe; Brown isn't going...

RB Andre Brown to Start For Giants    The New York Giants will be without starting running back Ahmad Bradshaw for Thursday’s game against the Carolina Panthers. North Carolina Football: Heels in the Pro’s (Sept 20, 2012)

With the week having been filled with a lot of things going in I look down and it’s time to once again look at the former North Carolina football players now in the National Football League as the Thursday night game arrives on the NFL Network. And like it has been the case the first two weeks, at least one team in the first game of the week has a former Tar Heel on its roster...
