Adam Tiecher of the Kansas City Star believes that Chiefs will start quarterback Brady Quinn over the struggling Matt Cassel for next week’s game against the Broncos.
“Responsibility for the mess that is the 1-9 Chiefs would fall to Brady Quinn, who again is in line to inherit the position,” writes Tiecher. “After replacing Cassel at halftime of Sunday’s game, Quinn seems to be the obvious choice to start next week’s game against Denver, also at Arrowhead.”
Cassel has been about as bad a starting quarterback could be this season. With only six touchdowns to go along with his 19 turnovers, it makes sense why the Chiefs would turn to Quinn. However, Quinn hasn’t been much better for the Chiefs as he hasn’t led them on a scoring drive all season.
