Last month, little New York Giants fan Joseph Armento sorely wanted RB Brandon Jacobs to remain with the team, so he took action, raising the small amount of $3.36 to send to Jacobs, so that the team could afford to keep him with the Giants.

Jacobs received the kind donation unfortunately too late, having already signed with the San Francisco 49ers.

On Wednesday, Jacobs refunded the full amount and then some, $5.00, and took him and his family to a bounce-house in Boonton, N.J. "He had some interest in there just for being a good kid," Jacobs said. "He's worth a lot more than that $5 bill I gave him."

"He told me he really wanted to get out there with the kids," Joseph’s mother Julie Armento said in a phone interview with The Sacramento Bee. "He really wanted to enjoy it, and he did. It was amazing."

Earlier this week, Jacobs told Julie that he would be in New Jersey for a short stay while he packs up his belongings and heads off to the Bay area. He chose the bounce house after thinking Chuck E. Cheese might be too much of a scene.

Although he has a bit of a bad rep in some circles, a classy move by Jacobs.

Retired New York Giants QB Phil Simms: "Super Bowl champs should be the favorites"

San Francisco 49ers 2012 NFL Season Preview

Offense We all know what happened with the 49ers last year. The defense was one of, if not the best in the league, ranking tied for 10th against the...

New York Giants' Michael Boley: I'm Still the Outside Linebacker

With a sea of depth at the linebacker position, very little is set in stone for the New York Giants.
