A year after signing a three year contract with the New England Patriots, Brandon Lloyd has said no to rejoining him. Reports surfaced Wednesday afternoon that the Pats had made an offer to Lloyd who turned it down. The report went on to say Lloyd has turned down upwards of five teams. It looks like Lloyd will retire. The Patriots ravaged by injuries to the offense could have used a player like Lloyd. Why he was let go in the first play after catching over 70 balls for more than 900 yards is anyones guess. This might be a time when the Patriots unwilling to give up three million in cash will cost them. With veteran wide out Danny Amendola hobbling with a groin injury, and do everythig back Shane Vereen out for the next eight games, the offense is looking thin.
