Talk about timing! Just hours after the Bears acquired Brandon Marshall from the Dolphins, the New York Post reported that the wide reciever punched a girl in the face at a club on Sunday in New York City.

The Dolphins claim they didn't know about the incident when they shipped his ass to Chicago for two second round picks. (Yeah right, suuurrre ya didn't) Now Marshall could face another suspension before he even hits the field in Chicago.

Marshall allegedly punched a 24-year-old girl named Christin Myles on her birthday at 4 a.m. on Sunday when a fight broke out at Marquee in Cleasea, causing Myles to be left with a black eye.

Marshall's attorney, Harvey Steinberg, said in a statement that Marshall and his friends were not involved in the fight. He did however say that Marshall's wife had to be hospitalized because she was hit in the head with a bottle!

Marshall has been arrested six times and his laundry list of charges include everything from disorderly conduct to drunken driving to numerous domestic violence charges from multiple incidents. He was involved in a New Year's Eve fight that led to the 2007 drive-by slaying of Broncos teammate Darrent Williams. Marshall was also was stabbed by his wife back in April. Hopefully this animal gets lock up in a cage this time.
