Brandon Marshall will be ready to play in the Chicago Bears season opener.
Marshall, 29, had been grated a four day leave of absence from Bears coach Marc Trestman on Wednesday.
Recovering from his third hip surgery, Marshall recently acknowledged that he felt rushed to get back on the field by the Bears staff.
“I woke up a couple days really sore when camp first started. I’m really much better now, but it’s not where you want to be at this time, which has been a little frustrating. From an ability standpoint, I’m right where I need to be. I’m not at midseason form, but that’s OK.” Marshall said on twitter on Wednesday.
When asked directly on twitter about his status for Week 1 the Bears primary target said he would play.
