Browns starting quarterback Brandon Weeden, injured his thumb in his throwing hand. Weeden said after the game, the x-rays were negative. He also said he couldn’t grip the football. That is why he knew he had to leave the game. He also said he just hurt it an hour ago and he didn’t know how this was going to affect him starting in the next game. He said his thumb was sure hurting a lot. Weeden said he injured his thumb when he hit it on another players helmet sometime during the last drive he played in late in the 4th quarter. The Browns don’t know if he will be able to play in the Minnesota game. Weeden was 21 of 33 for 227 yards when he injured the thumb. He didn’t throw any interceptions in the game and he had no touchdown passes either. The second year quarterback continues to struggle when he gets the team into the red zone. He had a shot to get a touchdown when the Browns had the ball on the 7 yard line and were first and goal on their first possession of the game. Weeden thre...

Did anyone actually see Brandon Weeden hurt his thumb? I mean no replays or anything, What’s up with that?

When a quarterback hurts his hand hitting it on a defensive players helmet, the television people usually search through the tape and play it over and over in slow motion. This wasn’t the case for Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden. No one knew he suffered an injury. I have seen it though the years, when a quarterback hits his throwing hand on another players helmet, he usually...

Weeden's Future With The Browns Is In Jeopardy

The Cleveland Browns entered the 2013 season hoping, that in his second year, and with a Norv Turner offense more compatible with his skills, that Brandon Weeden could rise to the occasion and become the quarterback that this franchise has desperately needed.  At least that was the perception the team wanted the fans to have.  We learned later that the current regime never had...

NFL News: Browns considering Brian Hoyer as replacement for injured Weeden

The Cleveland Browns coachin staff is reportedly considering third-string quarterback Brian Hoyer in the event that Brandon Weeden cannot play in Week 3 due to a sprained thumb on his throwing hand. Going to Hoyer would be huge leap of faith (one career start for 5th-year pro), but 0-2 #Browns are on the ledge, thinking about it. — Steve Doerschuk (@sdoerschukREP) September 16...

Cleveland Browns vs. Baltimore Ravens (Week 2) September 15, 2013 Brian  Browns 17 Ravens 10 Trying not to let the disillusionment that Brandon Weeden and the Browns started in me last week carry over. Hoping the offense can find its way a little bit to help out the defense, who should pressure Flacco quite a bit. Tom ...

Cleveland Browns Game Two: Winners and Losers

Who caught your eye? Did someone stand out? Who blew it? That’s what were interested in this morning. Winners and losers. Good grief. That was a pretty ugly display of football Sunday. At least from the offense. Let’s get it started. WINNER: Jordan Cameron. The Browns tight end caught five passes for 95 yards. Cameron is looking like a legit NFL tight end, which we just didn’t...
