Tony Romo is taking heat for his interceptions against the Giants. I'd say the first one was a poor throw but great execution by the Giants, the second was fluky and the third was a bad decision.
Interception No. 1 - After the game Romo said the Giants did a good job of checking out of their look before the snap. It's true. Antonio Pierce snuffed something out and the Giants appeared to back out of a blitz. At the snap, Roy Williams was jammed by Bruce Johnson as he attempted to run underneath. Patrick Crayton in the slot was running a free to the sideline and was open for the first down.
The problem? The throw was low and Williams didn't clear threw fast enough to bring Johnson with him. The throw should have been higher and the Cowboys would have had a pitch-and-catch first down. Instead New York had a touchdown.
Interception No. 2 - For the first time all game the Giants brought six-man pressure on Romo but the Cowboys did a good job of picking it up. Romo wasn'...
