When the New England Patriots released former 2009 6th round draft pick DL Myron Pryor on Thursday, it reinforces the idea that the 09 Patriots draft class was one to forget. Pryor, was selected 207th overall that year out of Kentucky and hasn't been able to stay on the field consistently enough for over the past year and a half. He missed the entire 2012 season after suffered an undisclosed injury and appeared in just two games in 2011 after suffering a shoulder injury Week 3 and hasn't played since in regular season. During his three seasons with New England, Pryor appeared in 24 games recording 34 tackles along with one sack and a forced fumble. Going forward it was hard to imagine Pryor being apart of the Patriots 53 man roster in September with his injury history and the depth on the team. Patriots Draft Speculation Runs Wild... Everybody Is Guessing

After what seems an eternity for Patriots fans and detractors, the draft is now within everyone's purview. As a somewhat interested party I find the more interesting question being the when and not the whom! Bill Belichick has over the years confused and befuddled those who absolutely knew whom he was going to draft and some have even ventured to try and guess whether he would...

Bradley Cooper, Julian Edelman visit Boston Marathon bombing victim in hospital

Let’s face it, no matter how hard we try and hate Bradley Cooper for being an insanely successful, Oscar-nominated actor who women swoon over, it’s time to give up. The guy is self-deprecating, humble, funny, willing to make fun of himself and he seems to always do awesome stuff that makes us respect him even more. Case in point, yesterday Cooper and New England Patriots wide...

Gostkowski on 'second senior year' with Patriots

Kicker Adam Vinatieri was a staple of the New England Patriots for so long that it seems like just yesterday he was splitting uprights in Foxborough. Time flies. Vinatieri's successor, Stephen Gostkowski, isn't far behind in the Patriots' tenure-length sweepstakes. Gostkowski is entering his eighth year with New England -- Vinatieri was a Patriot for a full decade. READ MORE »
