The Buffalo Bills have fired offensive coordinator Turk Schonert after the team’s final preseason game against the Detroit Lions. Quarterback coach and one time Bills player, Alex Van Pelt will be taking over the offense. Turk Schonert has been trying to implement a no huddle “K-Gun” offense for the Bills but has been nothing but a disaster. The Bills have been outscored 31-0 in the first quarter and have looked pathetic the entire preseason. It is unknown if the Bills will be changing things up after the firing but something sure needs to change. Buffalo’s offense has looked anemic and has not been able to score a single touchdown in the last two games. After reading tons of articles about how the no huddle philosophy is going to jump start this Bills offense it was odd watching the games and going when is this going to happen?
