Brian Banks search for an NFL job continued as he began a workout with the San Francisco 49ers on Monday, The Sacramento Bee reported.
Banks will participate in a three-day rookie camp with the 49ers where he will be evaluated as an inside linebacker. The 49ers only rookie at the position was undrafted Joe Holland, he suffered a foot injury during the team's full-squad minicamp but is expected to be back by training camp, which begins July 23 for rookies.
Banks, 26, has worked out with Seattle, San Diego and the Kansas City. He also took part in a two-day minicamp with the Seahawks.
Banks has only been preparing to play in the NFL since he was cleared in a court case on May 24. Teams seem to be waiting to see if the linebacker gets into shape before offering a roster spot.
Banks will workout with West Coast trainer Travelle Gaines and alongside 49ers Dashon Goldson and LaMichael James in preparation for an NFL training camp.

Every year, heading into training camp and the preseason, certain players stand out to such a level that they gain a bit of a following. They make an outstanding play in a preseason game, or they have some sort of excellent talent that flew under a lot of teams' radars. Then they either fail to make a mark in the NFL or are cut at the end of preseason.

So far it looks like the Seattle Seahawks are very happy with the offseason acquisition of tight end Kellen Winslow. One things for sure, they’ll certainly be using him all over the field, according to ProFootballWeekly.com.

This upcoming season will be a battle all the way through. With tough divisions like the AFC East and NFC North, the Seahawks will be pushed to the limit.
Seattle must make big plays if there is going to be a light at the end of the tunnel. A playoff spot has their name on it – if they can finish out the close games.
Seattle will rely on its strong defense to keep...
Chris Clemons is one of only a few official holdouts right now, after missing the entirety of last week’s minicamp in protest of his contract. Clemons is owed 4.5 million in the final year of a 5 year deal in 2012, which makes him underpaid considering the 24 sacks, 18 quarterback hits, and 97 quarterback pressures he’s produced over the last 2 seasons.

Seahawks Camp Recap
If you think the Seahawks are practicing less compared to years gone by you are right. The team completed their offseason mini camp last week after only three sessions this time around.
On June 6-8 the team was penalized by the NFL for having violated the new CBA by having live contact during the camp, and thus were forced to forfeit three practices.
Just three years after finishing up a five-year, $40 million contract, wide receiver Braylon Edwards can’t even find a tryout with an NFL team. After an injury plagued 2011 season saw him catch only 9 passes for a total of 181 yards, he was given his outright release from the San Francisco 49ers last Christmas.
Since then, there have been a multitude of reports of teams that have...
Rumblings from several sources concerning the Chris Clemons contract situation have not been in short supply recently.
By now, we all know Clemons is one of the team's hardest workers, posting two consecutive seasons where he notched 11 sacks. For a guy who was largely unheralded and undervalued in Philadelphia, where he played with the Eagles, those are impressive totals. We...
