It’s official: Brian Waters‘ brief NFL comeback has come to an end.
Waters, the veteran guard who ended an 18-month hiatus to sign with Dallas and immediately shored up the Cowboys’ offensive line, has been placed on season-ending injured reserve. The Cowboys said a strained rib, a hyperextended knee and a torn triceps, all suffered in last week’s loss to Detroit, all contributed to the decision to end Waters’ season. The triceps injury is the most severe of the three.
A 13-year veteran, Waters has been a solid asset to offensive lines in Kansas City and New England and was playing well for the Cowboys, but after this injury he may be ready to call it a career.

Guard Brian Waters’ season hasn’t officially been declared over, but the finality of it could come Saturday.
That’s when the Dallas Cowboys need to set their roster for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings, and it seems inevitable that Waters will go on season-ending injured reserve, something executive vice president Stephen Jones alluded to Friday afternoon.
Tony Romo used one of the oldest tricks in the book on Sunday to try and improve the Cowboys’ ball spot – the ol’ foot wedge trick. Romo used his cleat to try and give the ‘Boys an extra foot, but he was caught by pretty much everyone. Nice try, Tony.

The “foot wedge,” a term commonly used to explain golfers kicking a ball a few extra yards with their feet. Well, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo used the same technique on Sunday’s game against the Vikings when the refs were measuring the spot of the ball.
The Cowboys won 27-23.

Tony Romo is the king of improvisation for the Dallas Cowboys, so it shouldn’t be a shock that Romo will even try the sneakiest of moves to get a first down.
Yesterday during the Cowboys win vs the Vikings, Romo tried to outsmart everyone, even the Fox Sports camera man. After a 3rd-and-1 run by DeMarco Murray in the third quarter, the Cowboys appeared to be just short of the...

When Tony Romo threw a late interception, the Dallas faithful at Cowboys Stadium gasped in fury, hoping another fourth-quarter meltdown wasn't on its way. Fortunately for them, that didn't happen.

I love these candid shots that catch coaches and players getting excited and cursing. I’m not judging, I would be saying the same thing. Good catch, but bad camera shot going to commercial.
