The Denver Broncos have announced today that they have re-signed defensive end Jason Hunter to a one-year deal.
Hunter was an offseason priority for Denver. Not a Peyton Manning priority, but a priority just the same.
The unrestricted free agent has been with the Broncos for the last two seasons. An undrafted rookie out of Appalachian State in 2006, he previously played for both Green Bay and Detroit.
The versatile DE plays behind Elvis Dumervil and Robert Ayers, and returns to the team as they welcome new a new defensive coordinator, former Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Jack Del Rio.
