The Denver Broncos secured the No. 1 playoff spot with a Houston Texans loss and a 34-12 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Here's what the Players and coaches had to say following the game via The Denver Post: "It's an accomplishment. It's a proud mark. But three more would make it even better."--John Fox, Broncos coach, on his 100th career victory. "We knew we could do special things. It's all how we grow together. I feel like we have a lot more room to improve. That's where our focus needs to be. How we improve."--Champ Bailey, Broncos cornerback on his team's defense "It's been a lot of fun. Our goal is to start fast and finish games, and be consistent... We've done that pretty well."--Eric Decker, Broncos WR, on catching more TD passes "Regardless of whether we were 1 or 2, we wanted a bye week. It showed in total. All three phases of our game were solid today."--Keith Brooking, Broncos linebacker "Worst game of the year. It's unfortunate, because we were playing a very good football team and we needed to have an A-game and we didn't come close... All phases played bad today."--Kansas City coachRomeo Crennel "Losing is never a relief."--Romeo Crennel, asked if it was a relief to complete the 2-14 season Note: Broncos Safety Rahim Moore recorded his first sack in the NFL, and his first sack since high school on Sunday against the Chiefs.
