Recently hired Cleveland Browns head coach Rob Chudinski may have a homecoming surprise in the form of Brandon Weeden. Now I know it isn’t fair to compare Weeden to the dreadful Derek Anderson, but the similarities between the two quarterbacks are striking. However Chudinski and the rumored new hire at offensive coordinator Norv Turner don’t get to choose who they want as a signal caller right off the bat. They might if Geno Smith was to sky fall for some reason in the 2013 draft, but you have to dance with the girl you brought to the prom in this circumstance.… Read more

  • WOW. Arm strength is similar. But Weeden's head seems miles better than Anderson's. I saw Brandon trying to adjust to coaching the whole year. He was not getting the same priorities from game to game. Weeden still has some confidence left, Derek is hoping to find some.

According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, the Cleveland Browns will make Panthers offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski their next head coach. With Chudzinski hire, the burden of proof looms large for Browns

Terry Pluto called it underwhelming. That’s the only thing I read about the Browns hiring of Rob Chudzinski before I took to my keyboard to react. And my reaction is pretty much nothing. I can’t be excited because I wasn’t in the interviews. I can’t be totally disappointed for the same reason. The only reaction I have is actually more of a demand. Show me why this was a good...

According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer, the Browns are interviewing former Cardinals head coach Ken Wisenhunt for a second time, today in Cleveland. The Browns are putting together a good front office that would be able to help Wisenhunt if they do hire him...
