The Cleveland Browns have four full-squad workouts until the preseason home opener against the St. Louis Rams. Coach Rod Chudzinski says that the practices are ‘critical’ in nature for the maturation of the team. Roles still need to be carved out and a rough game plan needs to put in place. The Rams are an up and coming team that is expected to battle division foes San Francisco and Seattle for the top spot in the NFC West and will provide a good barometer of where the Browns are so far. “These four days, yesterday as well as the next few days, are really important for us, from developing a physical mindset,” Chudzinski said, via Matt Florjancic of ClevelandBrowns.com. “We’ve been in pads the last couple days. We’ll be in pads on Saturday as well. We’re really working to improve and develop that attitude. It’s a critical time for us.  “You get the first wave of five practices, and then, we have a little bit of a break,” Chudzinski said. “These four practices are where that lull hits. Everybody’s excited, usually, in that first five practices. “Really, you can see guys start to separate themselves, getting in pads, trying to develop that toughness and see guys, how they’re going to react, really press and push them in situations where they’re going to be tired. You really get answers on guys at this time before we get into games.”
