NFL Trade Rumors:
ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports that the Cleveland Browns will hire Panthers offensive coordinator Rob Chdizonski as their next head coach.
Keith Britton reports his sources have informed him that the Browns will likely hire former Chargers head coach Norv Turner as well.
We’re still waiting to confirm whether or not Turner will be the team’s offensive coordinator, but it seems likely that he would be hired to run their offense. Chdizonski actually spent time with the Browns back in 2004 and another stint in 2007.
Ken Whisenhunt met with the Browns for a second time this week, so it seemed like he could be favorite for the job, but the Browns obviously were more impressed with Chdizonski.
Cleveland is expected to introduce Chdizonski as their head coach sometime on Friday.

According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, the Cleveland Browns will make Panthers offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski their next head coach. It was reported earlier today that the Browns were giving Ken Whisenhunt a second interview, but it seems like they didn’t want to go in that direction. Chadzinski certainly isn’t a sexy candidate, but with a new owner and front office, all...
Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy interviewed with the Cardinals late last week, and while he was not made available to the Phoenix media afterwards, he did have this to say to the Denver Post and other Denver media outlets on Wednesday:
"We told the teams up front at our meetings -- we told them ahead of time -- that our No. 1 focus is to keep moving on with the tournament...

According to Peter Schrager of FOXSports.com, the Cleveland Browns will likely hire Norv Turner as their new offensive coordinator now that Rob Chudzinski has been brought in as their new head coach.
If the Browns are able to land Turner, their offense will be in very good hands. He’s arguably the best offensive mind’s in the game.

After news broke that Rob Chudzinski was the Browns new head coach, reports also surfaced that Norv Turner, fresh off his firing as head coach in San Diego, would be the Browns new offensive coordinator.
The San Diego Chargers have hired Tom Telesco from the Indianapolis Colts to replace fired general manager A.J. Smith.
Telesco is to be introduced at an afternoon news conference.
Telesco has been vice president of football operations for the Colts.
His first task with the Chargers will be to help select a new coach to replace Norv Turner, who was fired along with Smith on Dec...
Among all the firings of coaches and general managers around the league last week, there were three I thought were noteworthy regarding their success against the Titans. Those three are former Chargers G.M. A.J. Smith and coach Norv Turner and former Bears coach Lovie Smith.
As we painfully recall, the Chargers and Bears each humiliated the Titans in 2012, by scores of 38-10...
Chudzinski worked with Cam Newton the past two seasons with the Panthers. It is been rumored that former Chargers coach Norv Turner will join Chudzinski as the offensive coordinator.
3 years ago everyone was calling for Norv Turner to be fired because of the Chargers’ tendency to have strong regular seasons and then choke in the playoffs every year. I bet the Chargers would trade the last three years for that. Over the last 3 years, the Chargers have begun their underachieving earlier, missing the playoffs in all 3 seasons.
On one hand, things are looking up...
