Found October 22, 2012 on Pro Sports Daily:
Jason Pinkston was placed on injured reserve by the Cleveland Browns, who signed fellow offensive lineman Jarros Shaw from their practice squad. Offensive lineman Bryant Browning was signed to the practice squad to fill Shaw's spot. Pinkston missed Sunday's loss at Indianapolis after being admitted to a Cleveland-area hospital last week to be treated for a blood clot. Head coach Pat Shurmur on Friday declined to specify where the clot was. John Greco started in Pinkston's place against the Colts and will likely continue to start on the left side moving forward. "As a backup, he's been a guy that can play center, guard as well as tackle," Shurmur said last week.

Browns Trent Richardson upset about being benched against Colts

Cleveland Browns rookie running back Trent Richardson was adamant that even after suffering a rib injury last week, he would be ready to play today against the Colts. Today that was not the case, and whether it was the injury or non effectiveness, Trent Richardson did not finish the game against the Colts. Browns head coach Pat Shurmur felt he had seen enough of Richardson could...

Browns knew what they were doing with Josh Gordon pick

Credit the Browns with taking the risk in the supplementary draft sticking their neck out for a problematic player like Josh Gordon. No one ever questioned his physical ability on the football field, it was the luggage that he brings with the off the field issues. After seven weeks in the 2012 year, the Browns look to have an exciting core of offensive players after extensive criticism...

Grossi: Holmgren did “absolute minimum” while in Cleveland

Trent Richardson Questionable To Return

Cleveland running back Trent Richardson has exited the game and is questionable to return.Fantasy Spin:Though the Browns haven't announced why Richardson is on the sidelines, we're guessing it has something to do with the rib injury that forced him from last week's game against the Bengals. Browns Lose….But Weeden Improves

Lost in all of the Pat Shurmur play-calling bashing, questions about the health of Trent Richardson, the special teams disaster, the extra point gaff by Reggie Hodges, and of course the big drop by Josh Gordon was the stellar play of rookie QB Brandon Weeden. Remember back after the 17-16 season-opening loss to Philadelphia, half of the city was already done with Weeden? The Colt...
