Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis was active and starting during Thursday night's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Hillis suffered a strained hip in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Hillis finished with 12 carries for 45 yards and added a 52-yard reception in his second game back after missing five weeks with a strained hamstring.
The 25-year-old has 91 carries for 321 yards and two touchdowns this season.
Cleveland safety T.J. Ward was inactive for a fifth straight week with a foot injury.
For the Steelers, linebacker LaMarr Woodley and wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders were inactive.
