Cleveland Browns second year receiver Josh Gordon drew some attention from the team's CEO Joe Banner when he said, ''he wasn't convinced Gordon was worth a second round pick in the 2012 supplemental draft." He went on to say that Gordon's sophomore season would be a better indicator on judging if selecting him was the right call. If Gordon has to do so proving, at least he's happy with the way the offense is set up. Norv Turner's downfield passing attack puts pressure on defense to cover the deep parts of the field, and Gordon's strength is getting behind defenders. He feels that there will be a lot of surprised defenses when they face the Browns, this isn't the old bland Browns attack, it's new and improved. "Defenses will be shocked to say the least with how much we're running downfield," Gordon said, via Ryan Lewis of the Akron Beacon Journal. "I’ve never ran this much as a wide receiver ever in my life, and that’s a good thing. And not just me, everyone from the slot guys to running backs, everyone’s got passing plays in the system." "You’re a head up on the game," he said. "For guys, veterans and rookies, to have all this leading up until [the fall], I was way behind the 8-ball coming into last year. Now it’s a huge advantage for me to learn the offense, get in shape, get in more of a rhythm with whatever you’re doing out there, so you don’t feel as stressed or as new to everything. It’s definitely slowed down a lot."
