According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, from looking at how the Cleveland Browns have conducted themselves this offseason, it looks like Brandon Weeden will be the starter going forward. Rapoport says Browns offensive coordinator Norv Turner loves Weeden and head coach Rob Chudzinksi is excited to work with him. It looks like Jason Campbell was brought in to compete, but more...
The Browns have not had a productive offense since 2007. And if youâre like me, over the last five years youâve probably watched the likes of New England, Green Bay, and New Orleans and wondered how it was possible that Brady, Rodgers, and Brees were playing the same sport that us Cleveland fans watched every Sunday.
In 2011 Drew Brees threw for 46 touchdowns while the entire...

1999 QB Tim Couch (Kentucky)Right off the bat, the Browns made a horrible pick in drafting Tim Couch. Granted Couch was the top-rated QB entering the draft, but his play didn't translate well at the next level for the Browns. During his first few seasons in Cleveland, Couch threw up less than 60 percent and added more picks than touchdowns. His best season was in 2008, tossing...

On the eve of the first rookie camp under Chip Kelly, the Philadelphia Eagles were busy getting down to other business with their rookiesâgetting five of the teamâs draft picks signed.
Included in that group are second-round pick TE Zach Ertz, fifth-round safety Earl Wolff, and seventh-rounders DE Joe Kruger, CB Jordan Poyner and DE David King. This means that three of the teamâs...

Growing up as a hometown fan of any Cleveland sports team is immensely difficult for anyone, let alone my generation. I have endured the likes of The Shot, The Drive, The Fumble, and most recently The Decision. There is reason and foundation for my favoritism of Michael Jordan exceeding the preference of my Cavaliers, and an even more prominent rationality for my infatuation...
âMy feeling is that we need to present a different picture of this organization. Itâs been stale. It has not done well. I donât think people view the Browns in a positive light. My perception from the outside was that the Browns just werenât successful. They werenât energetic or forward-thinking. Iâm not afraid of transparency. Most of what we do here â thereâs no...
