Bucs defensive coordinator has had it with criticism, invites fans to help game plan

To say that the season thus far for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has been one massive, smoldering dumpster fire sadly would be a tremendous understatement. Things appear to be coming apart at the seams for the Buccaneers. Internal strife and an assumed and persistent animosity that existed between head coach Greg Schiano and Josh Freeman […]The post Bucs defensive coordinator has had...

MRSA an invisible foe, but one the Buccaneers must beat

TAMPA, Fla. -- Six days after his team received its latest MRSA scare, Davin Joseph stood in his locker room more aware of the risks involved with an invisible enemy. A two-time Pro Bowl guard for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Joseph was accustomed to facing large, imposing threats on defensive lines throughout his first six seasons in the NFL. But an unpredictable health scare, which...

MRSA Hits the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are having a really rough season thus far. With a record of 0-5, a head coach on the hot seat, AND their supposed “franchise” quarterback traded away, the Bucs can’t really afford to have too many distractions. But they do…a big and nasty one. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (trust me, it is a lot harder to pronounce than it is to spell...

Bucs game plans put Revis in man and zone

Philadelphia wide receiver DeSean Jackson had just hauled in a 12-yard touchdown pass against the Buccaneers on Sunday running away from All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis on a simple slant pattern. Up in the TV booth at Raymond James Stadium Fox analyst and former Tampa Bay cornerback Ronde Barber watched the play develop. “To me it looks like Darrelle's looking for some...

Darrelle Revis not at 100 percent, Ronde Barber says

The play of Darrelle Revis is far from the top of the list when breaking down the factors behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 0-5 start. Still there has been some hand-wringing about how the star cornerback has been deployed -- a mix of man and zone coverage not previously seen on Revis Island. According to one longtime former star of the Bucs' secondary Revis -- now one year...

Bucs injury report: Mike Williams questionable

For the second week in a row, the big question mark on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers injury report is receiver Mike Williams. Williams’ hamstring woes rendered him inactive last Sunday in Tampa. He was able to return to full participation in practice Friday for the first time in a while and will be a game time decision, listed as questionable. Defensively, second-stringers defensive...

Buccaneers continue to crumble from the inside out

Many have been critical of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this season, and who can blame us? So far this season, the Bucs have pushed their record to an abysmal mark of 0-5, and the team ran their starting quarterback, Josh Freeman, out of town. Although the team’s quarterback situation has garnered most of our attention, the team’s defense has been subjected to heavy scrutiny...

It is now official that veteran wideout Roddy White will also be out against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this weekend. For Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Win this week or Bust.

By now, even the most die-hard Bucs fan must realize that a winning season and the playoffs are beyond a pipe-dream, that they are actually signs of serious mental illness that should be looked at by a professional. (Anyone who wants to join me, there are 3 open spots left in our group!) The side out there that wants the Bucs to lose so they can get a high draft pick, probably...
