Say what you want about the Bucs, but one thing they’re not is strapped for cash. Heading into the start of the new league year, reports estimate that Tampa Bay is sitting pretty with $60.5 million in salary cap space, second only to the Chiefs’ $62.9 million. So what are they planning on doing with all that dough? Spending it. Every last bit of it. According to the Tampa Tribune, Buccaneers general manager Mark Dominik indicated Tuesday that he’s putting “every penny” toward a splurge in free agency, which officially begins on March 13. “We’ll be more active in free agency that we were last year,” Dominik said Tuesday as new head coach Greg Schiano continued to work on filling out his staff. “We purposely rolled every penny we could into this year’s cap. Clubs didn’t have to do that, but we wanted to. We have plans.” Those “plans” may include banking up the Brinks truck for a few of the elite players who are expected to hit the open market, including Mario Williams and Vincent
