Despite general manager Buddy Nix and head coach Chan Gailey both suggesting that the Buffalo Bills will seek an upgrade at quarterback the team may not draft one in April. The latest news seems to contradict the Bills previous talks about finding a replacement for Ryan Fitzpatrick.
While the Bills would be cautions to draft a quarterback in the 2013 draft, due to an underwhelming list of prospects, the team has nevertheless stated that getting one as soon as possible was a necessity.
“I think we really need to address it this year. The thing we can’t do is you can’t create one. You can’t go out, thinking ‘I’ve got to make this guy a player.’ If you do, then you’re going to be in a bigger mess. We don’t want to do that. We try to guard against that.” said Nix last month.
