Bills Insider:
Play of the Game
Rookie CB Vontae Davis' 23-yard interception return for a touchdown in the second quarter. The Dolphins were clinging to a 3-0 lead and neither team had done anything on offense, and then Davis stepped in front of a telegraphed Trent Edwards pass intended for Lee Evans and coasted untouched into the end zone. Dick Jauron said that was a bad play, but it was just one play in the game. Well, that play gave the Dolphins control of the game and they never relinquished it, and it started what was a very bad day for the Bills' popgun offense.
