This blog post title really sums up everything I have to say. In typical Bills fashion, this team let a very attainable win (and by attainable, I mean Buffalo waited until the LAST SECOND to let victory slip away) evaporate. Texans 35, Bills 34. That stings. Now we have two weeks for the wound to fester and to watch all the other fans with winning teams be all happy go lucky, oblivious to the cold cruel world of a Bills fan. No, I’m not bitter. As you’ll see a little further down, I’m in the beginning stages of grief: denial and isolation. That’s why when I woke up this morning and was planning this post, I could still think of a positive spin. By this afternoon, though, I moved on to the next grief stage, which is anger. So, I decided to let my little brother (ok, 20 is no longer that little) offer his analysis of yesterday’s crime scene. “Fitz is not a good quarterback. Despite one of his best career games stat wise he still managed to throw a late game interception that basical...

Biggest Disappointment in the NFL: The Buffalo Bills

The Bills had high praise from experts around the league and media outlets going into the regular season, largely thanks to the acquisition of free agent phenom Mario Williams.  But with 14 tackles and 3.5 sacks through 7 games, I wouldn't say he's lived up to the $100 million dollar contract he was blessed with. After a devastating loss to the Titans today, the Bills drop...

Buffalo stadium proposal doesn't have Bills' blessing

A development group laid out its plans for a retractable-roof football stadium in Buffalo on Tuesday, but multiple media reports indicated that the new venue is far from a sure thing to be the future home of the Buffalo Bills. For one thing, the Bills aren't involved in the proposed $1.4 billion project that would include the 72,000-seat stadium, a hotel, a convention center...

Report: Mario Williams Considering Wrist Surgery While Bills Are on Bye Week

Buffalo may already be writing off their season. The Bills didn't deem Mario Williams' wrist injury important enough to include it on their injury report, but it may be major enough for the highest paid defensive player in the league to require surgery. The Buffalo News reported that Williams is considering having surgery on his sprained left wrist while...

Kelsay questions teammates' effort

Chris Kelsay is in no mood to enjoy Buffalo's bye week after the latest meltdown from the Bills' high-priced defense. And the veteran defensive end delivered a tough-worded critique Monday that should make the upcoming break uncomfortable for his teammates, too. Declining to single anyone out, Kelsay accused players of lacking effort in a 35-34 loss to Tennessee a day earlier...

NFL Rumors: Buffalo Bills DE Mario Williams considering surgery

The disappointing season for the Buffalo Bills might just get a little more disappointing. Reports suggest that DE Mario Williams is considering having wrist surgery. The Buffalo News asked Bills head coach Chan Gailey about the rumors, but he had no comment. If Williams has wrist surgery, he could be the second player in the high priced defensive line of the Bills to miss time this...

Will A New Stadium Keep The Bills In Buffalo...???

((HT: WIVB-TV)) The Buffalo Bills already play a home game in Toronto. And, for some, that's a home game (or two) too many home games north of the border and away from Orchard Park and Rich Stadium. So, with Bills owner Ralph Wilson getting closer to the day when he won't be around and his family either divided or disinterested in keeping the Bills after that event...

HOF Thomas joins Bills in building playground

(Updates.) By JOHN WAWROW AP Sports Writer Thurman Thomas can still carry a load. And the Buffalo Bills' Hall of Fame running back showed he's pretty handy with a shovel, too. Knee-deep in mulch, Thomas joined numerous Bills players and team staff - including CEO Russ Brandon - by braving the rain and mud to help build a playground for preschoolers outside of Buffalo. ...

Gailey doesn't know when to be aggressive

I've been on a few dates in my life. We all have. I'm not going to try and pretend to be cupid or a playboy, but I'm pretty sure we all have a gameplan when we go on these dates. When should you be affectionate? When should you make the first move? When should you ask the girl to come home? When can you be yourself?  You have all these questions, but during the date...

Fitztragic

Watching Ryan Fitzpatrick play quarterback is exhausting. This wasn’t always the case. Hell, you know what? Maybe it was, but it’s in our nature to see victorious lapses through rose-colored glasses. It’s a painful thing to have followed over the past two years, the degeneration of Fitzpatrick from idolized messiah to gut-wrenching wildcard. It’s the nature of any fanbase...
