BUFFALO BILLS DE MARK ANDERSON OUT INDEFINITELY WITH KNEE INJURY - The exact time frame is still to be determined for Bills defensive end Mark Anderson, after he suffered a knee injury in last Sunday’s game at San Francisco, but according to Bills GM Buddy Nix he’s going to be out a while. “Well he’s going to miss significant time,” Bills GM Buddy Nix told Buffalobills.com. “We don’t know exactly how long it’ll be yet. We should know by tonight or first thing in the morning how long it’ll be, but we do know that he’s out right now.” The Bills GM said the injury is not of the season-ending variety, but Anderson is seeing renowned orthopedist Dr. James Andrews. “He’s seeing a doctor today and we’ll know more about that after today, and we should know within reason how long a time we’re talking about,” Nix said. With Anderson out this week it leaves Buffalo with just three defensive ends for the Arizona game in Chris Kelsay, Kyle Moore and Mario Williams. Original Story Here!

Mark Anderson the latest Buffalo Bill to suffer injury

Buffalo Bills head coach Chan Gailey said Anderson suffered a knee injury in the loss. “He went for tests today here (Phoenix)...

There is a new NFL Draft movie about the Buffalo Bills and Kevin Costner could be the GM

After years of giving Tinseltown the stiff arm, the NFL appears to be suddenly ready for a huddle. Sources tell Vulture that the league is on the verge of giving its usually difficult-to-obtain imprimatur to Paramount Pictures’ Kevin Costner drama Draft Day. Furthermore, it has also been mulling the unusual step of taking a financial stake in the $20 million seriocomic film.In...

Bills' Fitzpatrick stays poised amid turmoil

TEMPE, Ariz. If Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick seems unusually calm in the wake of his teams disastrous performances the past two weeks, well, thats because he is. Hes always been that way, said Mike Reardon, Fitzpatricks coach at Gilbert Highland High School. Initially, I didnt know how to take him. I thought he was a teenager just shutting me off, but he wasnt at...

Nigel Bradham is expected to replace Arthur Moats in Buffalo

The Bills are considering replacing SLB Arthur Moats with rookie LB Nigel Bradham. Moats is a pass rusher and not a 4-3 outside linebacker. First-year Defensive Coordinator Dave Wannstedt has been unable to figure out a way to stop anybody this year. It’s been a common theme throughout Buffalo’s 2012 defense. Bradham earned the top reserve linebacker position in camp and has...

Bills searching for answers on offense, too

The Buffalo Bills' horrendous defense over the last two games isn't the only problem. The Ryan Fitzpatrick-led offense has been inconsistent, at best, and now features an injury-depleted line that is expected to be down some starters this weekend. From bad to worse. Indeed, when the Bills (2-3) face Arizona (4-1) on Sunday, they will be short-handed and searching for answers...

Bills GM Nix rips defense after loss

Buddy Nix places the blame for the Buffalo Bills' defensive meltdowns on an overall lack of urgency and not solely on high-priced defensive end Mario Williams. And the Bills general manager maintained his confidence in coach Chan Gailey's ability to turn around a team suddenly facing an early season crisis. Otherwise, Nix finds himself as frustrated and ''puzzled...

Bills GM Nix criticizes defense's lack of urgency

Buffalo Bills general manager Buddy Nix is puzzled and unhappy by his high-priced defense's meltdowns, and criticized the entire unit for playing with a lack of urgency. ''What I see is not enough intensity and urgency,'' Nix said Tuesday during a telephone conference call with reporters. ''When you miss tackles, usually it's one of two things: It...

Field Goals - Questions to be answered

Things certainly got ugly in a hurry for the Bills. Shortly after dismantling the Browns, some were wondering where the Bills could end up on the other side of their showdowns with New England and San Francisco. Well, they came out 2-3, like many thought in the preseason. But the Bills didn’t end up 2-3 in the manner that most expected. A pair of lopsided losses has all...

Bills-Cardinals Preview

A visit from the defensively challenged Buffalo Bills might be what the banged-up Arizona Cardinals need to get back on track. Now missing their top two rushers, the Cardinals look to rebound from their first loss of the season while trying to hand the reeling Bills a third consecutive defeat Sunday. Arizona (4-1) was off to its best start in 38 years before being roughed up in...
