Monday marked the start of the second week of OTAs at One Bills Drive. The focus of today’s practice was on rookies who played more like veterans.
Rookie Wide Receivers Settling In
Two of the most impressive players on the field for the Bills were Robert Woods and Da’Rick Rogers. Both are playing at a high level and pushing the teams veterans.
Woods at this point looks like a lock to start for Buffalo.
Between his footwork, deceiving speed and great hands, Woods looks like a player who has played for a few seasons in the NFL. When Woods was drafted, I noted that he may not be the wide receiver “that’s open even when he’s not” as Buddy Nix wanted, but he was a guy you could instantly insert into your lineup.
Bills quarterback Kevin Kolb told BuffaloBills.com how impressed he was with Woods:
