TEAMS: Buffalo Bills
Former Buffalo Bills quarterback Jim Kelly will not need to undergo chemotherapy or radiation treatments in his ongoing fight with cancer, according to an update from television sports anchor John Kucko, based out of Rochester, N.Y., on Wednesday (via Buffalo Rumblings). Kucko says, per a source close to Kelly, that the Bills great is “doing well.” Kelly announced he had been diagnosed with cancer at his golf tournament earlier in June, and, as you’d expect, received an outpouring of support from the Buffalo community as well as former and current Bills players.

Bills complaining about their 2013 schedule

The Buffalo Bills are so upset with their 2013 schedule that they decided to complain about it on Assembling an NFL schedule with 32 teams, bye weeks and at least one prime time appearance for every club is no easy task. However, both of the coaches have said the Buffalo Bills will be a run first offense, which is consistent with the duo’s time in Syracuse, where they ran more than they threw the ball (also, it’s hard to argue with run first logic when you have CJ Spiller...

Bills QB Competition is Open, But Not Even

Since the coronation as franchise savior drafting of QB EJ Manuel by the Buffalo Bills, one of the most talked about stories heading into camp has been whether Manuel will start week 1, or if Head Coach Doug Marrone (HCDM, for short) will turn to grizzled vet Kevin Kolb to minimize his own growing pains as a brand new head football coach. And shoot if you thought Buddy Nixon didn’t...
