Last week: 21 (+9) Record: 1-1 This is why you don’t bail on predictions after one game. I had the Bills making it into the playoffs on the good defense, good running game, conservative offense, don’t make mistakes, easy schedule model, but after their week 1 loss, I overreacted and dropped them. However, the Bills bounced back big time this week and beat the Chiefs by 18 in a game that was 35-3 after the first 3 quarters before 2 garbage time scores. They looked exactly like what I envisioned they would and they can definitely continue to beat up on crappy competition like that. And for the record, no this is not an overreaction to one game. I’m simply undoing my previous overreaction. Studs RB CJ Spiller: Rushed for 123 yards (78 after contact) and 2 touchdowns on 15 carries, 2 broken tackles, 3 catches for 47 yards on 3 targets RG Kraig Urbik: Did not allow a pressure on 22 pass block snaps, run blocked for 36 yards on 6 carries C Eric Wood: Did not allow a pressure on 22 pass bl...

Buffalo's Gailey has Bills offense up and running

Chan Gailey refuses to be pigeon-holed as a pass-first coach just because he's introduced several fancy four-receiver spread formations to the Buffalo Bills repertoire. Gailey still has plenty of old-school throwback in him to appreciate a good ground attack. If he had his druthers, Gailey would call a run every chance he had. ''Every snap,'' Gailey said Wednesday...

Buffalo Bills beat the Chiefs, Bills fans beat each other (VIDEO)

The Buffalo Bills bounced back from their season opening defeat at the hands of the Jets with a 35-17 home opener victory over the hapless Chiefs. Of course, this being Buffalo and all, a few Bills fans decided to celebrate their team’s turnaround by punching each other in the stands.  Best shots come at the 1:04 and 1:26 mark. Having been to many a Bills game over the years...

Vince Young doesn’t understand why he’s treated differently than Peyton Manning

There are two ways of looking at this. Maybe VY just having a bad day and wanted to retweet someone who was making a terrible comparison, but was supporting him or VY really believes this. If it is the former I get it, if it is the latter then you have your answer as to why he isn’t playing currently in the NFL. I know all my haters are happy that I’m not playing football...

For fans of the Buffalo Bills, there’s nothing like the home opener

From the moment the ball was kicked off, two things were clear: The Bills were ready to play and the Chiefs were not. We watched two teams seemingly headed in opposite directions. The Bills showed they could rise above a stinker and play to their talent level while the Chiefs showed they either had no talent level or had no will.

Financial troubles for Young

By DANNY ROBBINS Associated Press DALLAS (AP) -- Six years after entering the NFL as the third player taken in the draft, Vince Young finds himself without a team and with just a fraction of the money he received from a contract that guaranteed him 26 million. The question is, where did it all go? In an increasingly caustic war of words, attorneys have been arguing for months...

Field Goals: Building on the success from week two

Things change quickly in Buffalo. A week ago Ryan Fitzpatrick was the worst quarterback to ever suit up and Mario Williams wasn’t worth a dime.  While Fitzpatrick probably didn’t do much to reverse anyone’s opinion of him – perhaps the same is true of Super Mario for some – the Bills looked like a totally different team than the one that bounced out of New York...

Bills-Browns Preview

C.J. Spiller came up big again, but solid defense, special teams and quarterback play also helped the Buffalo Bills break into the win column last week. The Cleveland Browns are still looking for the right combination that will help them earn their first victory in nine games, which they'll try for Sunday against a Buffalo team looking to end an eight-game road slide. After...

Week 2 Fantasy Football Recap: Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills

Kansas City Chiefs – 17, Buffalo Bills – 35Ugly ugly ugly is all you can say about the Chiefs’ effort, especially QB Matt Cassel’s (304 total yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT) through about three and half quarters.  Two late touchdown passes with the game already decided are the only things that saved Cassel’s fantasy day.  At some point, the Chiefs have to wonder if there’s any...

Buffalo has KC's Number

After starting last season with a 41-7 spanking in Arrowhead stadium, the Bills had their usual roller coaster season before falling apart, and finishing 6-10. Then this season came the promise of success throughout the Bills organization. As a Bills fan myself, I rode the bandwagon into the season with as high a hopes as anybody. Then Buffalo started by getting spanked down in...
