This could be the year Tom Brady accomplishes something truly impressive. Sure he has three Lombardi Trophies two Super Bowl MVPs and two league MVPs has been selected for eight Pro Bowls lives with his supermodel wife on an estate surrounded by a moat and will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer. Fine. But this will be the season the New England Patriots rely on their dashing prince of a quarterback more than they ever have. Brady’s biggest challenge lies ahead starting with Sunday’s season opener against the Buffalo Bills in Ralph Wilson Stadium. If the Patriots are to maintain their AFC East superiority and fulfill expectations as a Super Bowl contender then Brady almost certainly will have carried them despite an offensive lineup that looks nothing like past years. “A lot of people are saying he don’t have all the weapons he had last year” Bills linebacker Nigel Bradham said. “But that’s Tom Brady. He can make somebody out of anybody.” New England will need him to do exactly ...

Tom Brady suggests that Johnny Manziel is acting like a turd

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady appeared on CNBC’s The Squawk Box and of course the subject of Johnny Manziel was brought up by the host Joe Kernen.  Brady was asked about Manziel’s showboating and what was Brady has done in the way of flaunting, so Brady paused for a bit and responded with this: “I get pretty emotional. I have a lot of respect for the teammates...

Tom Brady hints Johnny Manziel should be careful with showboating

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Texas A&M star Johnny Manziel have very little in common. One is a Heisman Trophy winner and the other was relatively unknown in college. Tom Brady fails to get in sync with new look offense

All you need to do is look at Tom Brady's stat line to know he had some trouble with his young offense and inexperienced receiving corps: 29/52 for 288 yards with 2 touchdowns and an interception. 55% completion percentage? That's not the Tom we're used to seeing. It's not that it was all bad from an offensive standpoint, as Brady connected early with Julian Edelman...

Second Take with Brad Gelber – A Loss, Is A Loss, Is A Loss

So close, yet so far... The Buffalo Bills were minutes away from a week 1 victory and then Brady and the Pats became Brady and the Pats and the Bills became the Bills. For what it’s worth, neither team played good football. Turnovers and penalties were the theme of the day for the Bills, who showed why being good and being young in the NFL are not as harmonious of a duo as last...

Vote: Who Was the Patriots’ Top Offensive Performer in Week 1?

It wasn’t pretty, and it didn’t come easy, but the Patriots were able to squeak out a win over Buffalo in their regular season opener. New England marched out a new-look offense against the Bills that was full of fresh faces and new targets not yet completely comfortable with Tom Brady. The chemistry isn’t there yet, which was evidenced by some sloppy plays, but despite the...

Just about everyone has an opinion on Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel.
