Caleb Campbell isn't technically a rookie, but as the Lions' least experienced linebacker, he sometimes gets treated like one. This week, for instance, Campbell was assigned to decorate the linebacker room at the practice facility with Christmas trimmings. He hung blue stockings with each of his position mates' names on them and strung lights around the room Tuesday. On Wednesday, he wallpapered the door with holiday-themed wrapping. "He did great," linebacker Isaiah Ekejiuba said. "We're still expecting him to go get a Christmas tree, and we need some pine cones or something -- make it more Christmasy. But he had a good start, so we're proud of him." Campbell, a 2008 draft pick in his first season on the practice squad, said decorating the room helped take his mind off the shocker he found in his mailbox this week: A bill from the Army for $66,000, what he owes for foregoing his final few years of active duty to pursue a football career....
