Found October 10, 2013 on NFL Trade Rumors:
Lions HC Jim Schwartz told reporters again on Thursday that WR Calvin Johnson is most likely end up being a game-time decision this weekend. “It’s just going to depend on how he feels when we get to game day,” Schwartz said, via the Detroit Free Press. “When we make those determinations, we don’t make them on Wednesday or Thursday or even Fridays. He had a bunch of times last year where he didn’t practice at all and went out and played on Sunday, and last week, he practiced on a Friday and wasn’t able to go out there on Sunday, so we’ll just take it as it comes.” Johnson put in a limited practice on Thursday and mentioned that his knee felt “good.” Johnson added that he isn’t concerned about his knee being a long-term issue and believes sitting out of Week 5′s game was “for the better.” We’ll have more on his status leading up to Sunday’s game. Calvin Johnson was limited in Thursday’s practice

Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson returned to practice on Thursday with a brace on his injured knee, according to the Detroit Free Press. Johnson took part in position drills but did not run routes downfield nor line up with the skeleton offense. It still sounds like Johnson will be a game time decision this week. “He’s doing a little bit better every day,” Schwartz said....

Calvin Johnson returns to practice, listed as limited

Receiver Calvin Johnson returned to practice Thursday for the Detroit Lions, but only on a limited basis. Johnson told reporters afterward that he's feeling "good," but he wouldn't answer specific questions about his ailing right knee that forced him to miss last Sunday's game at Green Bay. "I'm feeling better," Johnson said. "We'll...

NFL News: Calvin Johnson’s status is up in the air for Lions vs. Browns

Calvin Johnson will be a game-time decision this weekend when the Lions get set to face the Browns in Cleveland. The big, talented receiver missed a 22-9 loss to the Packers the prior week, but practiced on a limited basis on Thursday. His replacement, Kris Durham, caught three passes for 30 yards and a touchdown. It was the only passing touchdown of the day for the Lions’ quarterback...

Megatron's availability could be another game-day decision

ALLEN PARK, Mich. Just like they did last week, the Detroit Lions are preparing as if star receiver Calvin Johnson wont play Sunday at Cleveland. Thats what we have to do, running back Reggie Bush said following Wednesdays practice. He didnt practice today. We have to prepare as if hes not going to play. Johnson injured his right knee during the Lions victory over Chicago on Sept...

Calvin Johnson Not Practicing Wednesday

Detroit receiver Calvin Johnson is not practicing Wednesday, according to Lions beat writer Dave Birkett.Fantasy Spin:Johnson is likely to be a game-time decision, but even if he plays he faces a tough task in cornerback Joe Haden who has shut down every receiver he's faced this season.

Detroit Lions at Cleveland Browns: 2013 Week 6 NFL Pick

Detroit Lions (3-2) at Cleveland Browns (3-2) I don’t know how this game can have a line. Calvin Johnson is a game time decision and yet this line has been at about -2.5 or -3 in favor of Detroit all week. The Lions’ offense looked miserable without Johnson last week, totaling just 286 yards and not scoring a touchdown until there were 2 minutes left in the game in a 22-9 loss...

Lions' Johnson returns to practice

Calvin Johnson was back on the practice field for the Detroit Lions on Thursday, although it's still not clear how likely he is to play this weekend at Cleveland.

Detroit Lions: 2013 Week 6 NFL Power Rankings (#9)

Last week: 8 (-1) Record: 3-2 It’s amazing how powerless the Lions’ offense is without Calvin Johnson, but it’s understandable considering he’s the best receiver in the NFL and everyone else is a bunch of scrubs. Whether or not they can win in Cleveland this week probably depends on his availability. He’s one of the most valuable non-quarterbacks in the NFL, after guys...

Browns' Haden set for showdown with Lions' Johnson

Browns cornerback Joe Haden says he can't worry about whether Lions star wide receiver Calvin Johnson will play Sunday after missing last week's game with a knee injury. Haden has to be ready for whatever Detroit might throw at him. And so far this season Haden has been up to every challenge for the Browns (3-2), who will try to extend their winning streak to four games...

Detroit Lions Toss-up, Week Five: Concerned About Matthew Stafford Without Calvin Johnson?

Every week during the season, we’re debating the biggest talking point from the week before about the Detroit Lions. Lions’ Toss-up, Week 5: After Calvin Johnson couldn’t go, the Lions lost in Green Bay 22-9 and didn’t get much offensive performance at all. Are you concerned about Matthew Stafford’s abilities as a franchise quarterback given his inability to rise above...

Fantasy Football Week 6: The Creeper Report

What do you mean Calvin Johnson’s out? Yeah, he was Questionable, but Calvin Johnson’s Q is better than my RIP. Luckily, the Creeper Report rolls deep at WR and RB. So I bump Victor Cruz from Flex to WR and wonder: “Jason Snelling or Golden Tate?” Another week I want to start Tate, but I suspected Seattle/Indy wouldn’t be a high scoring game. I felt Atlanta should get...

Fantasy Football Injury Report Week 6

Jacoby Jones (BAL) WR: Some optimism is finally emerging after a frustrating injury has kept Jones off the field since Week 1. He practiced during the week and is listed as questionable, and although there’s a decent chance he sees some playing time against Green Bay on Sunday, hold off on starting him in fantasy. C.J. Spiller (BUF) RB: Spiller was gimpy at practice with his ankle...

Haden Welcomes Challenge

If Detroit Lions' WR Calvin Johnson plays Sunday, Browns defensive back Joe Haden is prepared for the challenge.
