The television in my office spends nearly all of it’s time on either some baseless ESPN program or on the NFL Network, this afternoon, I shut it down. I just couldn’t stand it any longer. The same guests, regardless of network with the same canned questions and the exact same responses. It was remarkable that Ron Jaworski showed up on the set of Mike and Mike earlier this week and just happened to hand over some gifts of Johnnie Walker Blue Scotch, TOTALLY unannounced. How many times did other guests on Mike and Mike this week work the Johnnie Walker Blue reference into discussion on the set? How much was ESPN paid for that product placement? I thought hard liquor sales advertisements were not allowed during sporting events, but I digress. What’s next?- 5-Hour energy drink. Under Armour sportswear. Former NFL players hawking books. This endless rotation of the same players, going on the same network shows, being asked the same questions and giving the same answers-...
