The Cardinals activated RB Beanie Wells off the short-term injured reserve list and released Jamaal Westerman. Wells (turf toe) was placed on I.R. with a designation to return on Sept. 26 and began practicing on Nov. 7. Before the injury, Wells had 29 carries for 76 yards in three games. Westerman appeared in five games for Arizona this season and made one tackle. Wells is expected to return to the lineup this weekend when the Cardinals host the Rams.
