The Arizona Cardinals agreed to terms on a one-year deal with veteran running back Chester Taylor on Sunday.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Taylor was released on Saturday by the Chicago Bears after managing just 37 yards on 16 carries in the preseason.
The 31-year-old Taylor spent one season with the Bears, carrying the ball 112 times for a paltry 267 yards and three scores.
Taylor began his career with Baltimore and spent four seasons with the Ravens before joining the Minnesota Vikings.
His best season came in 2006, when he ran for more than 1,200 yards and six scores for the Vikings.
