QB Kevin Kolb inactive for Cardinals vs. 49ers

Kevin Kolb is inactive for the Arizona Cardinals for the third straight game with a right foot injury, and he's being replaced at quarterback by John Skelton against the San Francisco 49ers. A turf toe and a bruise on the side of his foot will keep Kolb sidelined again Sunday. He tested the injuries briefly in practice this week but complained of pain when he planted to throw...

The Arizona Cardinals need one of their QBs to step up!

QB has turned into a Black Hole once again for the Cardinals in 2011.  The Cardinals traded for 27-year old Kevin Kolb after the lockout was lifted and he has not been the answer so far this year.  Kolb has played in 7 games for the Cardinals so far this year and he has completed 129 of 227 passes (56.8%) for 1,706 yards with 8 TD passes and 8 INTs (77.8 QB Rating).  Kolb has...

Cardinals' Skelton not ready for the spotlight

Monday would be a really good day for Kevin Kolb's foot to fully heal. Cards' Kolb inactive again; Skelton starts at QB

Kevin Kolb is inactive for the Arizona Cardinals for the third straight game with a right foot injury, and he's being replaced at quarterback by John Skelton against the San Francisco 49ers.

49ers RB Gore good to go; Cards QB Skelton to start for Kolb

As expected, San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore is active for Sunday's tilt against the Arizona, while the Cardinals will play a third straight week without quarterback Kevin Kolb.

Kolb, Rams’ tackles, Julio Jones leads the names on Week 11 late inactives

For the third straight week, the Arizona Cardinals have put their big-time quarterback on the bench, and at a certain point, that may be more about performance than injury. Kolb's toe was the original reason for Kolb's absence from the Cardinals' offense, but Skelton has been far more effective in the last two games. We'll see if Skelton can continue his efficiency...
