The Arizona Cardinals on Mounday announced that the team has re-signed wide receiver Onrea Jones and released cornerback A.J. Jefferson. In addition, the Cardinals released running back Ian Johnson from the team's practice squad. Jones (6-foot, 202 pounds) spent the preseason with the Cardinals until being released in the team's final roster cut on Sept. 3. He was on the Cardinals practice squad the past two seasons after originally signing with the team on Sept. 1, 2008. He entered the NFL with the Houston Texans as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2007 out of Hampton and spent his rookie season on the practice squads of the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts.
