According to Brent Celek, the Eagles have gone from the Dream Team to everyone's favorite punch line.

"We've got four games left to prove that we're a legitimate team, because right now the world's laughing at us," said Celek to Johnathan Tamari of Philly.com.

While people in Philly may not be laughing about what has been arguably the most dissapointing season in the franchise's history, he is right about the national media. ESPN and the NFL Network have been ripping the Eagles since their embarrasing loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday, and really have not taken this team seriously for weeks. They point to the dissapointing play and the bad attitudes that have marked this Eagles season.

Celek is one player who has lived up to expectations this season, as he has become a more intrical part of the passing game. Ater being asked to block most of the last year, Celek came up big in both the Washington Redskin game and Dallas Cowboy game, two games that were must win at that point of the season.

It is also nice to see a player on the Eagles acknowledge that they are not deserving of praise, unlike other's in the locker room who have scolded fans for booing and not showing support.

"We've got a lot of talent, and we're just not living up to it," Celek said. "I'm embarrassed about it. I'm sick about it."
