Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson was at the debate desk with Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith today and got asked about just about everything under the sun. Johnson addressed questions about his domestic violence issues, the recent Javon Belcher incident, his future (if there is one) in the NFL and just about anything else imaginable. But what was relevant to this blog was his comments about why he was so unsuccessful with the New England Patriots. Ochocinco tried his best to avoid most of the questions pertaining to the Pats but there were a few highlights. The entirety of Johnson's debate / interview can be heard in ESPN.com's radio section but if you only care about what he said about the Pats, I've got that for you.On Stephen A. Smith saying New England stole Johnson's "mojo":You go to certain places and you have to shut up. I didn't have a choice but to change who I was to be in that atmosphere. I played one style my entire career and when you t...

The Patriots streak of excellence that nobody is talking about

Tom Brady high fives Drew Bledsoe in 2001 By now everybody knows that New England officially wrapped up another AFC East division title on Sunday.  Many news and media outlets have mentioned that the Patriots have had 12 consecutive winning seasons.  But what no one seems to be discussing is the fact that the Pats have also had the most wins in the division every single year...

NFL Rumors: New England Patriots sign Donte Stallworth with Julian Edleman expected to miss time

The New England Patriots started the 2012 season with what was considered an exceptional amount of depth at the wide receiver position. Veteran free agent Donte’ Stallworth was brought back to New...

A Collection of Tall Athletes With Short People

A while back New England Patriots’ RB Danny Woodhead was seen in a photo with Gheorghe Muresan. That’s a 7’7″ dude with a dude who is 5’8″, which just so happens to be the perfect segway to our opening post this morning…. Tall athletes and short people… Some of them involve athletes with their chicks, others are just random tall athletes with below average height...

Donte’ Stallworth Going Back to School in Patriots’ Offense, Which Is Better Than ‘Watching Dexter and Boarwalk Empire All Day’

FOXBORO, Mass. — Donte Stallworth hasn’t been in a classroom in over 10 years. But as finals season quickly approaches for most students, Stallworth will also be hitting the books. The 33-year-old receiver was re-signed by the Patriots on Monday, and knows the Patriots’ offense better than just about any receiver on the free-agent market, save for maybe Deion Branch. But even...

Donte Stallworth’s Knowledge of Patriots’ Offense Should Make Him Ready to Contribute for Battered Receiving Corps

As Julian Edelman crutched his way out of the locker room at Sun Life Stadium on Sunday evening, the Patriots already slim receiving corps grew even thinner. Edelman joined Rob Gronkowski on the shelf, leaving the Patriots with just six receiving options, between tight end and wide receiver. Even worse, the injury left Tom Brady with just three healthy wide receivers on the active...

Chad Johnson on First Take "I'm Quiet & I'm Always Open"

Chad Johnson joined Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith on First Take this morning, and man was it hard to watch.  The guy is just wild.  Not control over himself, and has terrible arguments to why he should be on an NFL team.  The guys at first take gave him multiple chances to explain to NFL team why they should give him a chance and all he could say is,  "I'm Quiet...
