Chargers coaches have spoken, after a OTA's, mini camps, full training camp and three preseason games, the coaching staff has cut the roster down to 75. As always with roster cuts, teams have to let go of young talent that just wasn't right for the team for whatever reason.

Some notable names that were waived today are wide receivers Jason Barnes, Taylor Embree, Phillip Payne, running back Michael Hayes, offensive tackle Phil Trautwein, long snapper Nick Guess, defensive tackle Eddie Brown, and tight end Brad Taylor.

The most notable (and surprising at that), was Roscoe Parrish. Parrish was an 8 year veteran wide receiver and kick returner that has showed some speed in camp and could have been a very versatile player. However, with the return of Eddie Royal this week and the continued success of Michael Spurlock, there was simply no room for Parrish on the roster.

In addition, the team has reached injury agreements with DT Garrett Brown and has been released. Chargers have terminated OT Michael Toudouze.

Johnnie Troutman has been placed on the "Reserve Non-Football" list and Brandon Dombrowski has been placed on the"Reserve-Non-Football Illness list.

The team announces the final roster cuts on August 31st, a day after the Bolts last preseason game.

Best of luck to those who were let go by the team!
