Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson has made it clear that he wants to stay in San Diego, now that his contract is set to expire and he’ll end up becoming a free agent. It seems like the Chargers might also want Jackson back. “The way he performed this year speaks to how valuable he is to our team,” Chargers head coach Norv Turner told Dan Pompei of the National Football Post. “From a coaching standpoint, I’d love to have him here. When you look at his production, his average per catch separates him from a lot of guys. “ If Chargers general manager A.J. Smith and head coach Norv Turner know what’s good for their immediate future in San Diego,  they’ll make sure they get Jackson locked up to a long-term deal.
