PLAYERS: Titus Young
TEAMS: Detroit Lions
Today's Lions-Titans game was one of the wildest in recent memory with Tennessee winning 44-41 in overtime. The game had pretty much every insanely dramatic play imaginable happen including a game-tying Hail Mary from the Lions. Incredibly, some fans watching the last second drama almost missed the Hail Mary. I'll let Eric in Chicago explain... "As a Lions fan living in Chicago, I have to rely on NFL [Sunday] Ticket to watch my team. I was disappointed in their play during the game, and had changed the channel to a closer game. But after I saw the first TD come up on Stattracker, I switched back and got to watch the onsides kick and the hail mary. As expected, I flipped my **** during that last play, partly because of its awesomeness, and partly because the game was interrupted by a commercial, right after Titus Young caught the pass and dove in to the end zone." How's that for incredible timing? I'm not sure if this happened all across Sunday Ticket or was just an isolated incident, but the commercial comes right as Titus Young catches the ball and crosses the goalline. Sure a Hail Mary is exciting, but so is Chevy Truck Month!
