Bears Headquarters:
In a move that just has me praying that the offensive line plays better, the Chicago Bears announced yesterday that Todd Collins will be the number two quarterback on Sunday. If he plays, do you really want the people of Canada finding the CFL superior to the NFL? Seriously, why is this guy still here? Do Lovie Smith and Jerry Angelo want to get fired? I know he was a Bill at one time, but even Bills fans probably hated him too.
On a positive note, it looks as if the team is relatively healthy heading into Sunday’s game. This is good news because it would be nice to see Major Wright actually play. Based on some things we saw in training camp and part of the first preseason game, he looks like he could be a good one. OK, I know I am being a little too positive here, but I am looking for something to make me feel better about Todd Collins. Roberto Garza is also rumored to return. All things considered, he probably is the best offensive lineman on this team.
