Found September 24, 2013 on NFL Injury Report:
Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Brandon Flowers was listed as questionable last Thursday night against the Eagles because of knee inflammation.  Flowers was able to play, but had to leave the game a little early due to the knee being sore. Flowers is still dealing with the sore knee and did not practice on Monday and head coach Andy Reid said he didn't know when the cornerback would be back up to speed.  Reid is saying that the injury is a day to day thing.  The Chiefs started practice earlier this week than other teams because they had the Thursday night game, the extra rest may help Flowers out this week.As of now it is unsure whether Flowers will be able to play, he is officially listed as questionable on the injury report.  If Flowers can't play this would be a big blow to the Chiefs secondary who has looked really good so far this season.  The Chiefs face the 0-3 Giants, but they have weapons on the outside who can make plays.  Don't let the record fool you, the Chiefs will need Flowers in this game.Follow @TheNFLInjuryRpt Looking for fantasy football advice?

Chiefs LB Justin Houston is on pace to shatter sack records

Houston was selected the AFC defensive player of the week Wednesday, the second time already this season he has been so honored. Only one other former Chief -- the legendary Derrick Thomas...

The Kansas City Chiefs Are Legit Contenders. Here’s Why.

I’ve taken some pretty good verbal beatdowns over the past three or so years from some close friends as well as Twitter followers and readers in regard to my belief in the potential of the Kansas City Chiefs. I’m starting to feel vindicated. I’ve maintained all along that if the Chiefs could get some stability at head coach and quarterback, there is elite talent on the roster...

Chiefs getting off to fast starts this season

(Eds: Updates, should stand.) By DAVE SKRETTA AP Sports Writer The Kansas City Chiefs are all about fast starts these days. They've started fast in games, taking the lead in the first quarter of each of them, and carrying that advantage into halftime twice. Chiefs likely salivating at thought of Giants' miscues

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) The hungry Kansas City Chiefs defense must be salivating at the thought of Eli Manning and the turnover-prone New York Giants coming to Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday. The Chiefs (3-0) lead the league with a plus-9 turnover differential, a big reason why they're undefeated. The Giants, meanwhile, are a league-worst minus-9, a major reason they've yet to...

Giants-Chiefs Preview

The resurgent Kansas City Chiefs lead the NFL in turnover differential and sacks, and have relied upon an effective running game to get off to their second 3-0 start in a decade. They've also handled the NFC East so far, beating teams from that division in each of the last two weeks. None of that appears to be good news for the winless New York Giants, who are coming off their...

Four Underdog NFL Teams That Will Prosper This Season

Kansas City Chiefs (3-0): The Chiefs are 3-0, shocking to some -- not-so-shocking to some. With the addition of Alex Smith, it doesn't come to a huge surprise that the Chiefs are 3-0. Smith formerly started for the San Francisco 49ers and led them to back-to-back winning seasons in 2011(13-3), and part of last season(8-2).Smith knows how to spread the ball around between Donnie...
