The Kansas City Chiefs are 2-0 after edging out Tony Romo‘s Cowboys by a point on Sunday afternoon. Andy Reid and Alex Smith have rejuvenated a team that had been languishing for years in a competitive AFC West. The team is finally playing exciting football, and the fans can feel a different kind of energy in the air.
For one unruly fan, that energy happened to be several hundred volts of electricity as Kansas City Police officers used a taser to subdue the combative man. The Kansas City Star reports that the disturbance started when the man poured beer on several fans. He was eventually charged with assault, resisting arrest, and making offensive contact.
Though the last charge sounds like a five yard penalty, he was given no option to decline. Check out the video below.

Andy Reid cleared his throat, uttered some familiar phrases and downplayed his return to Philadelphia.
Same old Andy.
''That's not where I'm at right now,'' Reid said when asked if it's going to be emotional when his Kansas City Chiefs (2-0) play the Eagles (1-1) on Thursday night.
''I don't feel that way. If we weren't playing a football...
It's hard to believe one of the most hyped up games of the year is already here.On Thursday night, Andy Reid will return to the city he coached in for 13 seasons, Philadelphia.Through the first two weeks, the Kansas City Chiefs have ammassed just as many wins as they did during 2012. The Philadelphia Eagles on the other hand, got the season off to a good start, but stumbled all...
How can you not like this game? Andy Reid and his 2-0 Chiefs traveling to play the Eagles. If this were a movie or reality television, there would be subplot after subplot.Old team against new team. If there was one game on the Chiefs 2013 NFL schedule that caught the attention of KC’s fan base, it was Thursday nights contest against the Philadelphia Eagles. It’s going to be a homecoming for Andy Reid and I argue one that players want to win for their new head coach.
Inside this edition of Out of Bounds, we discuss the impact of last weeks Cowboys win for Kansas City plus what it would mean to Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid to win in Philly on Thursday night.
Tweet The Dallas Cowboys committed to Tony Romo with a big contract extension earlier this year so the spotlight will be even brighter than normal on the franchise’s quarterback to produce. That job becomes a bit easier when you have Dez Bryant making plays like this for you down the field. There’s little doubt […]
Maybe the Cowboys should lobby for a Week 2 bye in the future. For the second consecutive season, they followed up an exciting win over the New York Giants with a loss.
The only slightly redeeming thing about this year's Week 2 loss is the Cowboys didn't get blown off the field. But Andy Reid's dominance of the Cowboys continued with Kansas City's 17-16 win in front...
Alex Smith is still winning in red. He's just doing it for the Chiefs these days.
Mike Wallace is finally happy in Miami, Anquan Boldin is making everyone happy in San Francisco, and that's just the start of the new faces in new places making a splash this season.
Wes Welker went from hauling in passes from Tom Brady in New England to doing the same from Peyton Manning...

After the excitement of Monday night’s win over the Washington Redskins, there are two more opportunities in the next five days to see if the Philadelphia Eagles can do it again, first against San Diego on Sunday, then on Thursday versus Andy Reid and the Chiefs.
Sunday’s game against the Chargers is the home opener at the Linc. The Birds hope to surge to 2-0, while San Diego...
The old Michael Vick returned along with Andy Reid.
Vick had three turnovers and got sacked five times as the Philadelphia Eagles lost 26-16 to Reid's Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday night.
''I take full responsibility,'' Vick said. ''I didn't get the offense going. I didn't get the tempo going. We didn't play well by any stretch. We didn...
The Kansas City Chiefs don't have a whole lot of time to enjoy their winning start with a game against the Philadelphia Eagles looming Thursday night.
The Chiefs pushed their record to 2-0 with a 17-16 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, matching their victory total from all of last year. But by the time most fans were reliving the win on their recliners, the Chiefs&...

Some random trivia items focusing on yesterday’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs:
The Dallas Cowboys have played 862 regular-season and playoff games. I have no idea what the actual odds of this happening are, but how possible is it for the Cowboys to play back-to-back games with final scores unique to any of the other 860 games?
Last week, the Cowboys beat the Giants 36-31, marking...
